THE BRANDS & THEIR STORIES:

Little Difference

Little Difference is an eco-friendly stationery brand providing greeting cards, notebooks, and prints inspired by nature. Launched by a couple with a love for nature, they decided to start a business that runs in the most Earth caring way possible. All of their products are made using 100% recycled paper and 100% biodegradable packaging. Their mission is to make the consumer happy and fulfilled with a uniquely designed product that signifies they have made a “Little Difference” in the world whilst making a net positive impact on nature by regeneration the world’s forests. For this reason they have started a “1 Card, 1 Tree” initiative where they pay for the planting, raising and protection of one tree towards reforestation for every single product sold!

From Babies With Love

We all love buying babies beautiful products, particularly at Christmas. Sadly there are too many children who don’t have anyone to buy them presents. However, when you buy from From Babies With Love, every single penny of profit, goes round the world to help orphaned and abandoned children. They work with the charities SOS Children’s Villages and Street Child to provide a family home, education, healthcare and support to overcome trauma. It’s amazing and essential work.

From Babies With Love provide us with the perfect organic baby gift. All their designs are ethically and sustainably sourced. They use the softest 100% organic cotton, and their toys are made from wood from sustainable sources and come in recyclable packaging.

58 Lifestyle

58 Lifestyle was created by the two beautiful souls Michal Cohen-Sagi and Noam Sagi who believe that wellbeing, health and beauty should be treated by a 360 approach. They opened a well being centre in London (58 Well Being Centre, Mayfair) and it’s pretty unique in terms of what they offer. Anything from massage to holistic treatments and western medical practitioners so they are definitely worth a visit. They also developed these gorgeous products which include notes of green mandarin, jasmine, coriander and ylang ylang amongst other natural ingredients that recreate a harmonious feeling that ultimately enhances our wellbeing. They are also free from sulphates, parabens and harsh additives. They are little packages of harmony and balance that create an environment fit for anyone yearning a peaceful soulful lifestyle.

Green Fibres

Greenfibres has been making and selling organic textiles since 1996. William and Gabriela Lana launched this mindful brand because they wanted to offer beautiful and useful textile products that are kind to the environment and to our health. They also wanted to provide meaningful livelihoods for everyone who work with and in Greenfibres.  With a gorgeous store in Totnes, Devon, you can visit this little country haven to experience their homely array of products including socks (pictured), clothing, organic and natural mattresses, natural cleaning products, duvets, pillows and toiletries. Expect a low-key, Totnes vibe that is hard to resist.

Gung Ho Design

Founded in 2016, Gung Ho Design combines a whimsical aesthetic with designs that are versatile, high quality, and filled with deeper meaning and purpose. Each print is designed by hand by founder Sophie Dunster; created to be both beautiful and to connect people with environmental issues through the designs themselves, and with each purchase Gung Ho donates to a corresponding charity working with this cause. Each piece is made from organic cotton which is hand printed in the UK using responsible dyes, whilst the final collection is handmade in London. The garments are also wrap designs, meaning that only two sizes need to be made, XS/S and M/L. Not only does this mean the clothes can fit any body type, and adjust alongside our bodies as we change through the years, but it also reduces waste caused by creating garments in many size variations.

Thought Clothing

Thought clothing, as the name suggests, is a collection of thoughtfully made items which are both ethical and sustainable, for women and men. They use naturally grown bamboo, cotton, wool, tencel, modal and hemp, all free of harmful pesticides and chemicals and sourced responsibly. Their designs borrow from nature, and in turn somehow feel effortless to wear, and diverse enough to transcend the seasons.

Ally Bee

Ally Bee creates her knits with a clear cradle-to-cradle story in mind. She produces each collection with a set of environmental standards that go beyond mere compliance and constantly questioning the status quo for ethical and sustainable production. Ally Bee seeks out natural fibres and produces ethically from farmer to shop floor, choosing high-quality fibre cashmere, alpaca and wool yarns produced to high standards of land management while protecting animal welfare. Her creations are intended to be a keepsake, created to live well beyond a season, and if cared for properly, beyond a single lifetime.
